My series of photographs are like a reservoir of images, which become texts, scripts, films, in situ works or performances.
Christine : she is an ethereal, enigmatic, fickle woman character, both physically and mentally.
She sometimes changes colour or density, taking on the appearance of a luminous spot or a ghostly being.
The spot of light : it is a protagonist on its own in the stories, a force that is difficult to define and which adds a fantastical dimension. Sometimes floating and uncertain, threatening or manipulative, it occasionally merges with Christine's body, like an uncontrollable impulse. It is also a reference to silver halide technology, the spot of light that impresses the silver salts, and which is carried over into the digital age, like a trace of the past.
‘Using the office as a stage, I imagined the people who work and circulate there, seeking not to document the visible, but to explore a fantasised dimension, psychological states or daydreams. Around Christine and a few men, a story begins to take shape, with tensions, power struggles, desires and imprisonments.’
